Pau d'Arco Tea

$ 10.00

Pau d'arco (also called Lapacho, or Taheebo) Our Pau d'Arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa) - Dried and cut bark, is an evergreen tree from the rain forests of South America. The inner bark is used to make a tea, and has long been used as a folk remedy in Brazil, enjoying a popularity there on the same scale as Essiac has been loved in Canada. Harvesting the bark does not harm the tree, which can live for hundreds of years. Our Pau d'Arco is wildcrafted and imported from Brazil.

Brewing instructions included. Simmer 20 mins., covered, strain.  Serving size 1 oz. cup, up to one gallon, per day. Serve lukewarm or cooler.
