Blue Moon Herbs Essiac - Organic or clean and ethically wild-harvested U.S.-grown herbs, including Sheep sorrel roots! Dried, pre-mixed, ready to brew. Choose from three sizes, starting at $7:
10g (.35 oz.) - $7 Makes exactly one quart, enough for one person for over two weeks (16 two oz. servings). Suggested serving size: 1 - 2 oz. decoction per day, diluted in 2 - 4 oz. of hot water. This size is perfect for use with two pint jars or bottles, (recommended if you are taking less than two oz. per day), or one quart or liter jar. Three of these 10g packets are included along with a 1.9L pot with a strainer built into the lid, spoons and 1L bottle in our tea-making kits for everything needed to make small batches of Essiac.
Making Essiac decoction one quart at a time saves time and energy because there is only one jar to sterilize, and no big kettles needed as when making up the larger batches. Comes with easy-to-follow simplified instructions.
2 oz. (57g) - $26 Makes 5 quarts, approximately 80 2-oz. servings. Detailed instructions included, with directions for making the decoction one quart at a time or all at once.
4 oz. (113g) - $46 Best price per oz. The 4 oz. size makes more than 2 gallons of decoction, enough for 10 people taking one oz. per day for one month. Make it one quart at a time or two gallons+ all at once like Rene Caisse and Mary McPherson used to, for sharing with friends, family and those in need. Makes approximately 160 2-oz. servings. Detailed instructions included.
Preparation: Essiac is a decoction, or concentrate, that is made by boiling the herbs for ten minutes, steeping them overnight and then refrigerating. Serving size is 1 - 2 fl. oz. per day. Opened jars stay fresh for approximately three weeks. Makes a healthy tea that tastes good too!
Ingredients: Burdock root, Sheep sorrel, (75% arial parts, and 25% roots); Slippery elm inner bark and Turkey rhubarb root. All of our herbs are from the US and are organically grown or sustainably wildcrafted in unpolluted areas, mostly in Western Montana.
