Essiac Seed Kit

$ 17.00 $ 22.00

 Its that time of year again!  March 18, 2022 and Slippery elm seeds are out of stock again until Late spring. The good news is that until they are back in stock our Essiac Seed Kits are marked down to $17! Happy planting!

UPDATE AUGUST 2022: 2022 was not a good year for Slippery Elm Seeds..Our supplier, Strictly Medicinal Seeds in Oregon, reports that no seed at all was produced from their trees this year. There really aren't many sources for Slippery elm seed..Our oldest tree in Polson, MT (at my house!) is about 12 years old but has not yet produced any seed.
The good news:
Our seed kits will not be going up in price! Also, if it had to be that one of the Essiac herb seeds was not available, Slippery elm would be the best one to get by without. The powdered inner bark is not in short supply and can be sourced easily. This seed requires at least a decade to produce a tree large enough to survive having a branch removed for the inner bark harvest, and the harvest itself is somewhat tricky also. We are sure hoping to get some seed again next spring.

There is no better, fresher, more potent and inexpensive Essiac in the world than that which you have grown and harvested yourself. You can include the whole Sheep sorrel plant in your formula, and have more potent Essiac than you could buy anywhere. Commercially, there is no Essiac on the market with a Sheep sorrel content being comprised of more than 25% roots (which is Blue Moon Herbs!). However, you can boost the root content in your own or any other Essiac by adding extra Sheep sorrel roots. They will be ready to harvest in earnest in the second fall, but will produce roots in the first year. Easy to grow!

The seed kit contains Burdock, Sheep sorrel, Slippery Elm (out of stock till summer 2022), and Turkey rhubarb seeds, as well as a handy growing guide.
